"Power of the Tongue - One Woman Show"
A tribute to the oral tradition, Black History and Black literature rolled into one. "Power of the Tongue" is a 75-minute multi- media performance anchored in classic Black poems, prose pieces, soliloquies, monologues and other classic literary favorites. Costume changes, music, historic video footage undergird performance. Note: Depending on programming needs, there are five different versions of Power of the Tongue is available, respectively for Kwanzaa, Dr. King, Black History, Women's History and National Poetry Month.

She has gained a first class reputation for her inspirational and dramatic multi media, presentations. Hailed by Essence Magazine's Susan L. Taylor as " having a gift people wish they had". Performance Artist extraordainaire, Ge'ylah, is uniquely talented, uplifting and inspiring. Renowned for the awesome ability of combining keynote with performance, leaving listening in tears, and challenging an audience to acknowledge the power that lay within the tongue, she has been billed at conferences with notable keynote phenoms. Dr. Molefi Asante, Les Brown, Hasani Pettiford and Iyanla Vanzant. Her presentation has been referred to as " a flawless collaboration of social, spiritual and historical delight" . Utilizing the art of performance to lecture as well as inspire, Ge'ylah carefully weaves, social, educational or religious event themes with powerful orations.
